EVA ST. AMAND

Eva St. Amand has crafted in a variety of media since teaching herself to knit at the age of 9. Her work has included sewing, decoupage, crochet, knitting and embroidery.

In 1996, between jobs in her chosen profession as an accountant, Eva tried tole painting and discovered a talent and passion for the art form. She is proficient in many painting styles such as One Stroke - double loading, Side Loading, Acrylic Blending, Rosemaling, and Baurnmalerai.

Eva is currently continuing her painting education by taking classes in Zhostovo Florals and Landscapes. Teaching from her home studio, Eva shares her enthusiasm for painting with her students, and is an active member of the Calgary Decorative Artists. She also holds memberships in the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters, Inc. and C-DAN - the Canadian Decorative Artists Network.
